Overview

AppLock Ultra is an Android app designed to protect selected apps on your device with a PIN, pattern, biometric unlock, and optional disguise features. Most security-related data used by AppLock Ultra stays on your device.

Information stored on your device

AppLock Ultra stores selected lock settings, theme preferences, optional disguise settings, text size, and similar app configuration data locally on your device. PIN and pattern secrets are not stored in plain text. They are stored as salted hashes in encrypted preferences backed by the Android Keystore.

If you enable intruder selfie features, captured photos are stored locally on your device until you remove them.

Permissions and special access

Depending on which features you enable, AppLock Ultra may request or rely on the following Android permissions or special access:

Analytics, crash reporting, and ads

AppLock Ultra includes Google Firebase Analytics, Firebase Crashlytics, and Google Mobile Ads SDKs. These third-party services may process app diagnostics, usage events, device identifiers, ad request information, and network-related data according to Google's own terms and privacy practices.

Data sharing

AppLock Ultra does not sell your personal data. Lock secrets remain on your device in encrypted or hashed form. Analytics, crash, and advertising-related data handled by Google SDKs may be transmitted to Google as part of those services.

Your choices

You can disable optional features such as intruder selfies, biometric unlock, fake cover, fake icon, and haptic feedback inside the app. You can also revoke permissions or special access in Android system settings, although doing so may limit or disable protection features.
